What is an evacuation system?

A good evacuation system may include, amongst other things, a specific evacuation plan with clear escape routes, a registration and/or headcount system for children and staff, and aids for the safe and efficient evacuation of babies and children. One example of a highly efficient evacuation system is the Baby-Mover®. This aid allows you to evacuate up to three children at once, whilst keeping your hands free for other important tasks.

- Baby-Mover®
Evacuate up to three children without any problems. Each pouch can carry a child weighing up to 9kg. This means you can carry a total of up to 27kg in the evacuation apron. The evacuation apron is easy to put on and made from flame-retardant material with reinforced seams.
- Newborn Baby-Mover®
The Newborn Baby-Mover® is similar to the Baby-Mover®, but has been specially developed for the very youngest babies. This aid also has space for three children. Each compartment can hold a baby weighing up to 5kg and ensures that children can be brought to safety quickly.
Both variants are of proven quality and ensure that stairs and other obstacles can be easily overcome.
